All of the online vendors seem to have 3-4 week lead times on the springs. The springs are being shipped from the manufacturer. I ordered a set of 6" EZ Rides from JCWhitney for cheap... so it makes the wait easier but damn.....

I always get bitten by the same thing.....

It takes me forever to decide what I want, but once I do those stupid vendors always make me wait!! :D

10 - 12 weeks for ORI Struts
2 weeks for EVO Heims
2 -3 weeks for Mog parts from Exaxt

etc.
etc.

They should KNOW that I'm going to place an order and stuff already set aside for me.

:usaflag:

It took a month to get my ballistic joints

I have never had parts get to me as fast as I want them it seems. Although lately it has been nice I have been ordering interior stuff for my crew cab. Everything with in a week and nothing back-ordered

The problem is we are so used to zappos.com, amazon.com, bestbuy.com etc.... were we recieve a tracking number within hours and its here within 5 days or less. But ya, honestly how long does it take to ship some springs unless they need to make a batch of them. Let us know how long it takes, sometime places say 4-6 weeks so your warned. Image if they said 1 week, but it took 2? Would you be more pissed.
As a business person though, really 8 weeks, 6 weeks? Just take it off the shelf and ship it by the next day....unless it is custom should be some inventory.

Well, if the groundhog sees his shadow, you might have to wait 6 more weeks for your springs to come. :haha::haha:

It takes a long time for springs to get here fron Indonesia, Korea, ect. Ships moove pretty slow.

Yah, we are definitely all used to super fast shipping.

I got irritated when it took 2 days for my summit stuff to get here, cause i didn't order early enough to get it next day with ground shipping:haha:

Gotta love a distribution center that is just a couple hrs away.

Tuff country springs are made in the USA. I ordered a pair from ORD during their christmas sale, I think I got mine in two weeks

Ordered the TuFf Country EZ ride 6 inch 52's on Jan 25th also from JC Whitney! Fed ex was backing in the driveway this morning so I knew it was going be a heavy package! Thats when the GRIN came!

Got my SPRINGS!.. maybe the 3 week eta is a little off. Seems like my springs came pretty quick! I'm sure yours will be on their way!

Now its waitin on Alcan to finish making the front set!

I did notice on JC Whitney that each type of TC Spring had a different wait time.

Hmm.... Strange. The last TC lift I installed had springs with a tag marked "Country of orign. Indonesia". TC makes all their hardware in the USA. But i believe they import their leaf springs and assemble in the USA. Just like all the other lift/suspention companies.
The only springs I know of made in USA with USA steel are Deaver & Alcan, You will fork out some serious $$$$ for those.

I will have to take another look. Im pretty sure there is a sticker that says "Made in the USA" on the leaf spring.

Can anyone verify where TuffCountry springs are made? Mine came but the tags were off peeled off.

As a side note, I remember buying Rough Country springs in 1988 and the tag on them said 'Made in Canada'. Interesting.

Mine springs took 6 weeks to get here but they were custom so that is why. Good thing about it is that they were made in the USA!!!:D

I got them... and yes... made in the USA

Cool that is good to know. The lift i put on with imported springs was about 4 years or so ago. I am glad they are made in USA now.
