Went to a junkyard where my buddy works, asked about the 1350 CVs in Ford Stupid Duty's. From the junkyard next door, you can see the front shaft sitting in what's left of a 99 350 with the V-10. Upon closer inspection, there is no way this can be a 1350. The caps looked like 1330s, and the cross width was only 3" if that. Looked at another one that was basically the same, but a '00 or '01, had the same thing. In the dissmantling side of the shop was an 02 250 crew cab deisel, same small front shaft. WTF?? I thought these had the 1350 CVs and 1350 on the axle end???? Do I have the years wrong, or the tonnage wrong??? What are the for sure year make and model, part # if you have one. I need to find out, I can get it with his discount for around $75. :D

Anybody? Want to get one if they are the right ones, should be getting the rear shaft early next week, then off to get the gears installed. Finally will be able to go wheelin' again.....

I bought a 1350 cv from a 99 f250 but it was the rear shaft and it was a 1410 and the axle end.

My '03 F250 6.0 diesel has a 1350 front shaft,
I'll check the '01 F250 7.3 in the morning, but I'm pretty sure it's 1330.

I didn't anticipate going in the yard, or I would have taken a handy measuring card with 1310, 1330 and so forth on it. Just put it next to the joing and tells yah what it is. Buddy is supposed to find out for sure what they are. I'm gonna go back and look again anyways. I can't find anything online anymore on these shafts...

I checked my '01 F250 7.3 diesel, it also has a 1350 front CV driveline.

edit; both trucks are auto tranny, not that it matters

Well then they ought to have it. Sitting in the garage was an 02 crew deisel that got hit HARD on the pass side, couldn't look under it to see what the joints were. Don't have a pic of it by chance do yah?? Or anyone else???

Just so you are aware you will only get 20 degrees out of this combo unless you modify the cv then you can get 30-35 out of it doesn't take that long with a die grinder if you know how to but you will have to totally take the cv apart since the pivot ball assembly is the problem
