Whats with Interco/Denman???

So i tried to order a set of tsl's this last weekend and was told at NTW and 3 other large 4x4 businesses that all tsl and a couple other swamper tires are on national backorder until at least july if not longer! They pretty much said they will be discontinued (temporarily i hope) until later on, liquidation of some sort......Oh but boggers are still available so i ordered a set of 35x10.50x15s for my 89 K5, anyone else ran these before??? What did you think of them???

I didn't know Denman was the mfg. of pitbull tires. That might be part of the problem. I've heard those tires really suck.
Loved the old GroundHawgs though but they went to a softer rubber compound when they sold than line to Interco which by the way is doing just fine from what I hear.
FTR Interco and Denman are two seperate companies.

Ya i know they are 2 separate companies but just wasnt sure which one was having the problem. I just figured id ask because i found it kinda ironic that they have been around for so long and when i got the cash for a set of good tires they stop making them lol!!! oh well the boggers are on the way!

Denman wasn't really a tire company anymore they had a manufacturing facility, it really screwed up Pitbull and swamper.

We sell Pit Bulls and swampers at my shop we have lost money for sure on tires.

I was over browsing Interco last week, just to see what the 38 TSL radials where running.... I need a spare, so I figured I might get a pair at some point, rotate one of my dryrotted ones to spare duty...

1 - wow, pricey...

2 - noticed they wouldn't be available till July... that caught me off guard.... now I know why...
