I'm a closet Dodge-em fan...

my particular variant of Mopar poison is the 68-72 Darts. I had 3 of em. They all ran real good! I can say i always hated the starter noise though.

A little brand rivalry is fun but I can honestly say I like most brands. Even Ford made some cool cars and tough trucks. Hard to do swaps on em though...

I used to have a '70 Dodge W300. With a 440. That thing was awesome, until a piston went through the block. Even then I drove it fifty miles home. The D70's are in my K5 now. They don't all suck... Too bad anyway. But those ridiculous mods body have to go.

That's because I'm the devil.

Yeah, I dunno. Not a big fan of Dodge personally, but the cummins turbo diesel is nice. Besides that, any man (or woman) who loves their car so much that even though it doesnt work, they still love it!

(at least you didnt get the breakup line from your gf, "you spent more weekends working on that chevy than you did with me!").. now thats a low blow.

i would not mind having a hemi cuda or a hemi challenger. but i just don't get the hood scoop thing. and the last time i heard of the hemi coming in a car sence the 70's when there was that gas shortedge.

Well I am not trying to start crap but i like older mopars. yeah they arent aerodynamic (mostly) but man I think they were cool. Had some badass motors and who else had balls enough to put those wild colors on their cars. I dunno that just me though. Maybe I am a little off my rocker hehe. BTW next year they are reintroducing the Hemi in 354 cu in configuration in the full size trucks so it will be a production engine again.

I think some of the older MOPARs are cool, but anything they made after the 70's is crap. We have a '96 minivan that is falling apart with probably 80K on it. Had the tranny rebuilt at 60K and now it has a broken motot mount, the doors get stuck and it doesn't align at all.

I also am a mopar fan. My liking stems from the fact that my first car (hot rod) was a duster. I loved that car. So much so that I'm on my fourth on now. Not because they broke down, but because of the process of growning up. I prefer dealing with chevy's simple because they are cheaper to build. I believe that ford, mopar, and chevrolet all built good rides and bad rides. I don't take offense to the to the ribbing, it's all good. Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents, and support my fellow mopar brothers. By the way I was told by a reliable source that dana axles are a product of chrysler corp. And I KNOW everybody loves those.

Enjoy,
Mike.
