i have a pretty serious squeeking whenever i accelerate. What's the deal?

oil your squirels cage... just playing but it might belts or it could be a bearing on the frits my belts are noisy i need to replace them or you could try sanding on the pulleys a little bit or put bar soap on the belts yes it realy does work lol

yea something in the back of mine squeeks and drives me nuts i think its the spare tire and carrier my tire is to big to let it tighten and suck up all the way to the thing

the belts sound like a promising way to go. its only happening when i accelerate, could that still be a ubolt issue?
most ujoins in the drive shaft make noise when under power like taking off. pop under the ride and look for major play and rust coming from the cap seals. if any of these time for reman for the shaft with new joints.
you need to tighten your alternator belt using a pry bar.

heres a thought, i had a similar problem..
turned out that my speedo cable was worn..so i got a new cable, and the squeek went away.
another thought is that it might be you speedo itself..somtimes you need to take them out and spray a little lube in the back of them where the cable hooks up
