What's wrong with me

What is wrong with you? Well for starters you have not doubled your money by selling it to me!

Should be super easy on that one, I count 6 lugs on the wheels which means it's already 4 wheel drive.

6 lug yes, 4wd no. All light duty 1/2 tons are 6 lug now. Makes it cheaper for gm

Smoken deal, there would be something wrong with you if you didn't buy it!!

Is it weird everything I read that you type @ChrisPerry comes out in your voice in my head.

Pretty sure it's just a new output shaft and remove the tailhousing

Thanks Eric. Been googling the tailshaft swap a bit. Not sure it's something I want to tackle or not.

My plan is to put the drivetrain in my FJ40. Was planning on a 4.3 but the LS is more better

Divorced transfer case is an option...tranny stays the same that way,no teardown..and you can put any transmission in front of it too..

Not in a 90" wheelbase FJ40 it's not.

Get an atsg manual. It will give you tons of info.

90" WB ?..geez--you could just couple the tranny right to the diff with one u-joint probably!.....still wont be 4wd though..
Yeah,I guess there isn't enough room for a divorced T-case in that rig!..

Gonna push the front fwd a few inches, but the rear will stay stock. It isn't going to be anything hard core. Nothing bigger than 35s.
