I have a 1991 suburban with a 350 and I'm getting 11mpg on the freeway, 9 around town and 6.8 when towing.

My 89 K5 (stock) w/ a 700r4 & 350 (3.42's) & 32" tires gets up around 17 mpg. I have not checked it to get an exact number. My 97 K1500 w/ a 4" & 33's and 3.73's was getting 17 the last time I checked it.. which was a pretty good while back. Either way, I'm happy with the MPG on both, for what they are, I can't complain.

shoot, both my engines need a refresh, getting 11 average combined in my K10- 32's/3.73's/auto
and about 10 combined K20/28's :D /3.73's/manual that should dump significantly with the 38's

With the truck listed in my sig, I just got a little better that 11mpg on the drive to Moab and back over the mountains.

just checked my dually(1983 1-ton 4x4,454,sm465,205) its at 7mpg pulling a trailor everywhere it goes.

havent checked the blazer(1988,1-ton,350tbi,700r4,208,4.56s,38.5s) in a while but at last check it was 11-12mpg.

80 k-5, hotrod 350, carbed, sm456 34inch tires, 1 ton axles 4.10 gears = 13 mpg on the hiway 60 mph. ( but hey, who really cares about hwy. milage)

91 k5 350/4l60/10b's/3.73s 31" bridgestone a/t revos..14.5(heavy footing it) or 17(light footing it). About 50/50 highway/city miles.

do you mean gpm?

Yeah, gallons per mile. :D Seems like it.I'm getting right around 9 if I"m trying to be good and way less if I have my foot in it.Mine's really not much better on the highway-got the areodynamics of a brick. If i'm running 70 or 80 and let off the gas completely it's like hitting a wall.

16.5 mpg freeway, 4.56's, no overdrive and 39.5" TSL's. It gets about 15 mpg in town...

That would be with a 6.2 though. With my 350 I was lucky to get 9-10 freeway and worse in town.

On the drive to Blazer Bash I was reminiscing about getting 19mpg with my 6.2L, 3.08s, and 33s. :(

I get between 12-15 mpg combined but trail mpg drops right down to around 6 Turns into a total pig. I'm running a 350/325 hp crate motor with a stock throttle body and 3.73's turning 33's in a 1990 Jimmy. But when you get right down to it, we really don't pilot these babies for thier fuel economy. :haha:

1990 tbi 700r4, 4.10 gears and 33 mud terrains gets about 13.5 during the week htats about half freeway half street driving. im fairly happy with it. with some mods im sure i could get better.

8mpg

I'm getting avg 8 MPG with a Holley 3310-1, 402bbc and 4.56 gears on 33's.

'88 350tbi 700r4 208 3.73s and 35s. i get bout 10-11 city, duno bout highway.
