What's your rig weigh?

This has been asked before.

Mine with a full tank of gas weighs in at 6,880 lbs.

6,400 lbs. loaded for the trail. Spare tire, full tank of gas and some tools.

not to steal the thread but yall are up in the 6k range, when i weighed mine on our cerified truck scale, it said i weighed 4900 with a full tank and couple hundred pounds of tools in the back? what is the gross weight of a blazer stock in the late 80's

Sorry for asking a ? that has been asked already. I am a brand new member and havent had time read Aaaaaall the past posts.

I wasn't jumping your sh*t just simply stating it has already been asked and there is a thread on it. Membership has its privelages once you learn how to use them. :D

It depends on how you are set up. if you are running 1 ton stuff = 6K range.
Stock with 10 bolts is around 5K
My 89 K5, stock 10Bs without the back seat, a full tank of gas and basic trail stuff and basic tools is around 5200lbs with me sitting in it.

Well like I stated before, I joined a few days ago so I obviously didnt think to check the archives. Some people are just born knowing how to do things I suppose:bow:

The curb weight of my '77 K5 stock was 4700 lbs. I weighed it back when it looked like this and it weighed 46xx. The only thing that changed its weight from stock was the winch on the front and no top:

After the one tons, it weighed in at 5070 looking like this:

Neither of those weights include tools, but I had a spare for both. I'm betting its a couple hundred pounds leaner now :D

My K30 crew cab service rig tips my 70 ft scale at 7,900lbs in Summer/winter trim and 8,500lbs+ in fall/spring trim.

My K5 weighs 5,260 with a 1/2 tank of gas.

Mine weighed in at 5820 lbs, minus the top, with me in the truck (175 lbs). With all my recovery gear and tools I would have to add about 250-300 lbs.

Mine's about 5350, with spare tire, top on, full tank and two passengers but no cargo. I have 3/4-ton rear, aluminum rims, 35's, aluminum intake (TPI) and iron heads. I also have 3/4" MDF side panels and a lot of stereo equipment. But I'm sure I could get down to 5349 if I put helium in the tires.
