Wheel Adapters??????

Guys, I"m doing a 1 ton swap on my rig and I simply hate the narrower look in the rear. (I know it is that way stock too.) I know alot of you guys run adapters, I have doubts though about them. Have any of yall had issues with them like them coming loose or anything like that? Any info is welcome good or bad.

It must be from before my time that wheel spacers got such a bad name. I know guys running stock H1 rims that run spacers a couple street drive em. No issues at all. Any solid axle swapped toyota will be running spacers on the front axle. I have done a dozen of those, no problems.

I am not sure if it was a design change or something but there is no problem running a wheel spacer

few years now no problems.

3" per side to make c&c 14ff drw axle a stock srw width.

went 10 ft lbs over the stock lug nut tourqe and blue locktight on the threads. not 1 problem. and its on 1ton that works. outer lugnuts for rims are stock tourqe spec.

I've been running them on the street for 4 years and not one issue.

Ten years ago they seemed to have a really iffy reputation for loosening and causing vibe issues.

Seems like not so much now.

Would this also apply to a guy wanting to take a 8 lug SF 14 bolt and use a 8 to 6 lug adaptor? Seems like the simplest/easiest to me
