I am curious if anyone is running a 17x9 with 4.5” backspacing and -12 offset wheel and would be willing to share a picture? I am getting ready to put my 3/4ton running gear in and need to get some wheels ordered. My build is more centered around daily drivability and not off roading. I am sticking with my 4” lift and will be in the 33”x 12.5” tire range.
Any suggestions on wheel selection or pics are much appreciated. I always get nervous before buying wheels because I can’t just try them on and obviously it’s a expensive endeavor.
Thanks

I am in the same boat.
I am even considering a 5" offset in a 17x9
Or a 4.5" in a 17x8.
The more I can tuck it in without hitting anything the better.

I'd be concerned over going in much further, to be honest

It would be nice if four wheel parts for instance had a demo day where people could put on some different wheel sizes to help with selection. I swear, picking a new wheel size without seeing it is one of the most nerve racking decisions. So thank you guys for helping out. I found a good deal on the 17 x 9 w/ 4.5” bs and -12. So going to pull the trigger to help motivate me to get my 14 bolt cleaned up and shoved under there.

Here's an antique thread with what is likely to have as many broken photo links as good ones. But it's something

Cucv had those wheels.
One tons and 37s with 1.5" rear spacers.

Here's the start of that same wheel (or so it looks, -4.5" dish, 37s) in my build thread with some different colors
may or may not be helpful
Does have a pic mocked up with a minivan, of that's what you need

HA! Do I sense a minivan build thread in your future?? I like your truck..looks good! I am running 3.73 too. I think the 33’s should keep it snappy with the 4 spd and ls2.

Thanks for the pics! Good motivation. Hope everybody is doing well and staying strong out there. Got mine mounted yesterday, just working on cleaning up my 14 bolt and installing new bearings and disc brake conversion.

To make the axle width match front and rear.

I read somewhere that the difference in width was for tighter turning radius. Have you noticed a difference?

Keep in mind, 3/4 tons fronts are two inch narrower axles than 1 tons.

Another choice piece of information there! I swapped out a 3/4 for a 1 ton and never knew there was a difference! Who'd a thunk it? Learn something new everyday!
