Hey guys it's my 1st post and I have a question about a build I'm doing. I have a 1974 Bazer I have lifted it 8" I'm wondering how big of a tire I can fit without cutting. The wheel is 17x8.5 with a 4.5" back space. I'm thinking about 37x13.5x17. Does anyone have experience with this tire size and does anyone have a good recommendation of what tire to use. Thank you in advance!
Respectfully,
Chris

I ran that on a 6" without cutting. You should be ok.

I'm just curious... could OP fit larger than 37s without cutting?

What's the use of the truck? Light wheeling...towing...mall crawling? More info needed. If you are just gonna drive it down the road and that's it, then probably 38" or so can fit...if actually going to flex the suspension (with 8"...ain't gonna flex much), then 37" is probably as tall as you can go without cutting

I wanna do light wheeling, be able to get through mud and snow as I live in Idaho.

I live in ID too...I live in Emmett. I would say stay with 37's then if you really are against cutting fenders. Something like a Super Swamper Iroc or something like that I think would work well. You could get a normal mud terrain tire (take your pick of all the different brands...nitto, pro comp, bfg, goodyear, mtz's. etc., etc.) and they would probably go better down the road, but not perform that well in the mud or deeper snow. I guess it depends on what you plan to use the truck for mainly.

Awsome, I live in Boise! Did some research and I'm going with 37x13.5x17 super swamper M16s. Anyone have a hook up on tires?
