I have an 83 p/u. 14ff in rear dana44 6 lug front, I have 8 lug set up to go on next week. If I checked the rear rims correctly, they have 4.25 inches of backspacing on a 15" rim, I have a spare rim that I got at a different time that appears to be 4.5 backspacing. would 4.5 be a problem on the front, or would I be grinding too much. I like the way it looks better then the 4.25.I am debating on buying the matching front rims in the 4.25 or 4.5. I have the corporate 10 bolt front that I am going to try to rob the knuckles off of to put on the dana 44, but if they don't work, then the whole corporate front end is going in. the truck has 35" tires with a 4" susp lift and 2"body. any help would be great.
