im rebuilding a d44 and when i got it it was all apart...this is one of those things i havent done on a truck yet..i bought all new hubs and rotors along with bearings...after the outer wheel bearing does just the spindle nut go on or is there a thrush washer?...if someone could give me the order or hint that would be great, thanks:bow:

On my old D44 the inner spindle nut goes right against the inner race of the outer wheel bearing, no thrust washer. After the hub with the outer bearing is installed, it goes, inner spindle nut (the one with the tit on it), spindle nut lock ring, then outer spindle nut.

so an old dana 44 has no washer and another one does...o ya...mine is the newer dana 44 (the one that looks like a 10 bolt caseing) sooo im guessing it does need a washer between the bearing and spindle nut?
