Well I was going to replace my brakes and rotor today and when I pulled the rotor hub off the inner wheel bearing stayed on the axle spindle and the greese seal is sitting loose behind it instead of on the back of the hub. The bearing is really stuck on there. How do I get it off?

try tapping it with a rubber mallet,so you dont ruin the bearing.sometimes they are just off center a lil and need help.other than that,i donno.may have to ruin the bearing by hammer chisel method and beat it off.

Do you have a 3 jaw puller big enough to reach it or maybe a steady hand and a cut off wheel. I lose my mind when crap is seized on. When I replaced my shocks the little spacer sleeve for the front shocks was like that. Let me tell you that it takes FOREVER to cut through a hardened bolt.

maybe a torch? heating it up then use some hammering/prying technic? it might be easier to first cut/mangle the actual bearing off the race that its stuck on, then just deal with the race itself.

OK so my nieghbor helped me out. he had a slide hammer with a hook thing on the end. it took him about 15 seconds. I order one today. the problem is the axle spindle is preety neww and must be just slightly more diameter than the oe one.

for future reference if worst comes to worse you CAN use a cut off wheel but its really hard not to damage the spindle. i usually try to use a dremel. itll take forever but it works

glad you got it.sometimes it just takes the right tool for the job.BFH is usually my last resort.lol.it should be tight but not tight enuf that it gets stuck on there, maybe had a lil rust under that was holding it there.the start of surface rust and then putting the bearing on top of that would do it.i always try and clean the spindle real good then put a lil grease to stop that from happeneing.
