Does anyone make an aftermarket bearing hub like the one in the top left of the pic for Dana 44's or 10 bolts?

If they did, do you think that would be an upgrade worth doing or would the stock setup be better?

You want to do away with the spindle ? As in unit bearing ? Like the Dana axles in jeeps ? People are making a killing selling the jeep guys conversion kits to make them old style with locking hubs :thumb:

Those are pricey , and one of the reasons we love the older truck style solid axles .

Sounds good, I was just wondering about it. I thought if someone did make a bearing hub unit that it would make maintenance easier. i.e. changing rotors, swapping axle shafts out, etc. I know those units are pricey too. I had a '93 4x4 Dodge Dakota in the late 90's I had to get one for. The cheapest one I could find was $96. :D

i would rather stick with the old style becasuse they are cheaper, i jsut had to change one of the new style hubs on my car and it was $155
