When I brake on a freeway off ramp or anytime at high speeds I get a bad hop. New drums and shoes both sides...tires new too, and in balance. Does fine at freeway speeds until I hit the brakes. Not sure about the rotors... not getting any bad pulsing from the front though. Any ideas would be great...and a great help to me.

Check your tie-rod ends. When they get really sloppy, applying the brakes will basically make your front tires go from looking like /\ to \/ and back and forth...thus creating your "hop."

Worth a look anyway.

Warped rottors would be my guess, but it should be noticeable at slower speeds too. I always have my rotors checked-n-trued when doing brakes. Fairly cheap to replace too if they are warped.
