i got this other truck awhile back just a 78 k10 shortbed nothing fancy. i put a 4'' lift on it a 33's on a 15x8 wheels that i stole off my temporarly broke down 95 silverado. but when i fix my 95 the wheels are goin back on it so i need another set for this truck and i was thinking about the mickey thompson classic II. i want something kinda wide on this truck and im goin to run 35's after awhile so the question is should i run a 15x10 or a 15x12. ive owned the 15x10 but they were steelies and i was wondering if i would have any real stress issues running such a wide wheel for mudding and trial rideing and some just ruff offroad stuff.

I would do 10"s. I am running 15x8 factory rallies on 35" BFG AT's and would have gone with 10's if i could have found them. They look narrow on the factory 8 inch wheels. 12 inchers are too wide i think.

12" wheels with that size tire are gonna b too wide...i wouldnt go more than an 8" wheel actually...these are 15x12's...

same tires but with an 8" wheel

Another member stated in a different post my thought process on wheel width.....
2" narrower than tire width. It just seems to look right.
