very simple and down to the point.
on a 87 3/4 ton w/ a 8 lug 10bolt and a 14bolt sf will a 15x10 wheel fit with a 4.25in back space
or a wheel with 2.75 back space.

i dont think it should be a big deal. but since the rear drums are so big the 4.25in BS way be to big. any help would be awesome!

First, unless your D44 was swapped in, the 87 will have a 10 bolt, but that isn't your question.

Yes a 4.25 BS 15" wheel will fit on the rear without issues, but you'll need to grind the front calipers for it to fit.

ok sorry, 10 bolt....haha... whatever.
anyway. so the 8 lug 10 bolt has larger calipers than the 6 lug..... humm.
anyway will a 2.75 inch BS fit on the front without caliper clearance issues?

not larger calipers, larger backing plate that the calipers mount on cause of the bigger rotors. Yes, 2.75 BS rims will fit, I ran them on my burb and didn't have to grind anything. I've heard that people that have ran 3.00 or 3.25 BS have only had to slightly grind in order to fit.

ok sweet thanks dude. i was just wondering, i know grinding them doesnt hurt anything but i want all the meat on them calipers as i can.
the only downside is that the tires are going to stick out a ton!
thanks again dude
