Ok boys heres the situation. My rear tires rub in my wheelwells of My K5, every time i go wheelin i get out to find more clean paint and rubbed tire lugs on the inside. Without getting a different offset wheels i need this rub to stop . Wheel spacers are likely going to have to be in the short term plan. Now for the question. The front and rear track widths were different from the factory to make sure the rear tires werent following the exact path as the front?right? Well is adding 1.5 spacers would bring my SRW 14bff to 70in WMS-WMS correct? (front 60)is 69 in WMS-WMS is that enough of a difference ?Should 2in spacers be a better alternative?
Any adverse effects from doing this? The extra strain on the hub bearings isnt really a concearn of mine. The truck does and will see highway time to get to and from the trails.

Someone make this make sense please

The different width in the rear is more for maneuverability than it is for tracking purposes. With the rear a tad narrower the truck will turn slightly sharper.

I would get spacers to match the tracks and not worry about it. Every toyota guy under the sun runs 58" WMS front and rear with no adverse affects.
