wheel studs huge price differences?

so i’m ordering all new studs for my D60 and 14bff to fit my new aluminum wheels, being sold in sets of 10...i’m seeing $105 and then $25...i understand different metal hardness/ quality etc. but an $80 difference?! i just can’t see how or why it’s such a radical price difference. Which one did you guys go with? both made by Dorman.

why do you need new studs ?

how thick is your rim face ?

5-6 full threads in good min contect or open nut flush with stud is good .

i can see 14ff rear as some rims make stock srw studs short . use drw studs for lots of length on the 14ff .

my rear studs are VERY short, sticking out past the hub face maybe 3/4”-7/8” and with my new aluminum wheels, they don’t even stick past the wheel face. the front aren’t as short but still sit just about flush with my wheels face. so all new studs are needed. i found the studs 9/16-18x3”...my question was just why the insane price difference between two identical studs (measurement wise)

check rock auto for studs . there cheepest most of the time on lots of this stuff . then the 5% disc code on here in the vendor section helps a bit .

true. so searching Dormans site, i believe it’s just the exact .658 knurl measurement by 3” long is the reason why they are so much more. thanks for the help man.
