Need to install 12 studs in my new alloy shafts for my 14SF... I do not want to draw them in with lug nuts, that is a no no in my opinion...

I tried an air hammer but that didnt work very well, I cant hammer them in from the back while installed in the axle due to the backing plate flange being so close, and I dont see how a shop press would work, looking at it..

Any other ideas? Maybe I am just stupid and Im missing something... :doah:

Never mind I thought about it for a second and realized how dumb I am...

Clearly, I said I tried a shop press but that I couldnt make it work.... ;)

However I can use a shop press if I find myself a piece of tube to press against... Like I said, nevermind I thought about that as soon as I posted..

I swapped in Ford 1/2-20 studs on my 14bsf and the only way I was able to get them in was pounding them in from the backside with a hammer. Use the two-hammer method and you won't mushroom the end of the stud. I should also mention I did this with the shafts removed:)
