Does anyone have a part # or size wheel studs they used when doing a disc brake swap on a 14FF. I got the brakets from DIY4X and new 3/4 rotors, now I need the right studs.

Thanks for any help.

So I can use the ones that are in the my 1 ton 14B FF, or do I need new ones?

If they are in decent shape you can just reuse them. But they are only like a couple bucks each new.

Yes you can re-use them. The only time you cannot re-use them is if the 14ff came with the small 11" drums (those used a shorter stud).

Just keep in mind that I have found that some rotors the recess for the head of the stud isn't large enough for the stud to seat within the recess so in that case you should machine the head of the stud down to 1.100" diameter so that it does fit within the recess. You could always enlarge the recess but I like to machine the head diameter so in the future it doesn't matter what the recess size is.

I'm working on my own axle swap right now. Going 12bolt to 14 bolt with disc brake conversion.

What I am using:
- TSM Disc Brake conversion Kit (w/ Ebrake)
- Wheel Studs = Dorman 610194
Type:
Serrated Stud
Thread Size: 9/16-18
Thread Pitch: Right
Knurl Diameter: .621 in
Length: 3-17/32 in
Shoulder Length: 1-5/16 in

- Lug Nuts = Dodge Ram 2500/3500 SRW lug nuts (found 32 for $23 on ebay)
- Wheels = Hummer H2 Take-Offs found for $400 on Craigslist
- Tires = None Yet, but thinking about trying 35x12.50x17 fierce MT made by good year $825

I have everything mocked up, but still have to start thinking about brake line routing and hooking up the eBrake. Also need a new yoke and straps, re-gear to 4.56, replace all wheel up seals and bearings, add detroit locker, shock mounts, spring plates.... I have a pile of parts in the garage accumulating. I'll try to add some pictures later.
