In my build thread you can see I got some new boggers the other day. Now I need to figure out what rims to put them on. They are the 18/39.5-15. I'm most likely going to run weld in Beadlocks from DIY4x. So how much width will the rings add. I was think of getting 15x8 wheels and then with the rings gettting closer to 15x10's. Is that too narrow for the tire?

it'll add about 1 1/2" on my 42's w/ 15x10 + beadlock i felt it was perfect. i personally think 15x8 + BL will be too narrow.

hmm, ive got 15x10's and am thinkin bout gettin weld in bl from diy4x as well. i think with a tire 15"+ wide 15x10 + bl will be perfect.

Kinda' going through the same dilemna.....

Assuming the cost of new wheels was not an issue.........I think a 10" total width wheel is ideal for the 15" tires. That means starting with a 15x8 and adding the BL's. Any wider of a wheel and the edges will start taking a beating when on the trails from ruts, rocks, and roots. My current 10" wide rims on 13" tires have gotten the outer lip completely beat up and constantly getting dirt and sticks stuck in between the bead. Of course the beadlocks take care of some of that problem............
