Ok, I got my tires and plan to run 15x10 wheels with 3 1/2 inch backspacing. I have a Dana 60 and 14ff these will mount to. My ? is can I go to a deeper backspacing and still be safe with grinding the caliper's. I would like to try an avoid using fender flares to cover the tires. The tires are 35x14.50x15 and no matter what I do I know they will stick out some, but the more that is not exposed the better. Thanks.

According to some minds on POR, 3.5" is about the most you want to go. much more than hat and you may have to start grinding the backing plates.

YA, I was just out taking some measurements (sp) and I think that will be the limit. I was curious to know if anybody has put deeper offsets on before I order my wheels.

(Just posted this on another thread, copying here)

Standard backspacing for this size is 4 1/8", this is what I have (both sets) and reccomend. Some people prefer less. Do a search for the pro's and cons of both, there has been lots of discussion in the past.
