Where do you mean the wheelbase too? center of hub, to center of rear axle or something /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

i was just checkin out your pics, how the hell did that jeep fall off the trailer?

[/ QUOTE ]

The guy towing the 2 jeeps had the trailer start swaying and the whole works flipped over. Good thing there was no oncoming traffic that time!

Mine took a roll on labor day weekend. Parked it for lunch and it sat in gear for about a half hour or so.....then started rolling backwards. I tried to jump in it and got knocked down by the door and run over by the tire twice. 4 broken ribs and tore just about all the muscles off my fore arm. Im lucky it wasnt worse! I know cybersniper has some pics so hopefully he can chime in and post one of what she looks like now. Mine will be getting a parking brake before it goes anywhere now /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks for the info guys /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

73-87 wheelbases:
K5 ................. 106.5"
Shortbox Pickup .... 117.5"
Suburban ........... 129.5"
Longbox Pickup ..... 131.5"
Crewcab Pickup ..... 164.5"

I believe the 60-72 shortboxes were 115" and the longboxes were 127". I know the 67-72s were that length but I'm pretty sure the frames were the same all the way back to 1960. Don't know, I'm pretty inept about the pre-73 stuff. I just know 71-72s look awesome.

yep, my truck is DEFINETLY getting a parking brake.

dam dude, looks like it got [censored] up preaty bad. looks like the frame is also bent. how many times did it roll? im guessing a cage is also in your future?

Frame appears to be ok......ok enought for a wheelin truck anyways. It looks like it only flipped once. I am glad to see it held up as well as it did especially around where i cut the back off. The blazer seal section held up very well. Not sure about a cage but a parking brake for sure.
Somehow my 2-meter antenna cameout of it without being broken....not sure how the heck that happened.

Im thinking a pickup cab and some sort of box for it now. Not sure yet though. /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif
