Wheelbase question

WHat do you guys think is the best wheelbase length? I have always wheeled blazers, and like that wheelbase. I have also wheeled a burb, and like that as well. I am building a rig right now based off of a standard cab long bed (132" WB). I know that is too long, but trying to get an idea what length to go. I am as going to run 38" tires if that helps.

It all totally depends on what terrain you are talking about. The "general" rule is tire size times ~3 but I feel that is a little too much wheelbase.

What kind of wheeling are you looking at doing?

All around wheeling. There is mostly rocks here in AZ. 38x3 is 114, which is about where I was thinking. I just trying to see what other guys are running, and what they do or dont like about it. I only want to do this once, since I am stetching a bod to fit this setup.
