Got to do a little more wheeling this weekend with the new rig. I definitely like the exocage. It saved me from body damage more than once this weekend. Sorry this is not tech. bboy

I don't know him but I know he built the exo. He was mid build and started a thread on pirate about he was unsure as to whether to finish or cut it off, lol. About 50 people immediately told him to keep going as it was looking good.

wheelin'

the 42"s are bias ply
i don't have beadlocks, kinda looks like it in the pics due to rubbing

Ryan we'll keep you posted for our next ride.

and BOWTIE thanks for the compliment. I like your rig as well.

what suspension are you running?

I am currently running 52" springs up front with the axle moved forward another 1" with zero rates. The rear springs are 56" backwards with overloads in place and a secured block moving it back another 3/4". Currently running 10" shocks in front and 9012s in the back. I have 9012s for the front but i have yet to modify the front shock mounts and I need longer brake lines. The wheelbase is close to 116". If you need more information let me know. bboy

bboy, the exo is very impressive! So far, have you found that it gets in the way or helps? I've heard some people say an exo can make an already wide body too wide. Personally, I love it so I'm curious.

How much total lift do you have?

TIA!

bboy where are those pictures from?? did you end up moving to texas? if so u come spend a few days wheeling at spring creek its pretty fun and i think its the cheapest spot in town 10$ a rig. lots of fun

Looks like Gilmer muddyblzr. Not sure though. I have some friends that are going to run spring creek this weekend...but I'll be working on mine instead of riding.

Didn't mean to hyjack bboy...the pics looked like yall had a good time. Nice job on the Blazer btw.

that exocage is pretty sharp. alot cleaner looking that some i've seen. nice job.
what did you build it out of?

Awesome!! Diggin the exo. Any regret's with the exo? (ie.can't take the fender's off)??

where are you located at. those trails look bad ass!!

those are all texas trails. i think from what ive heard that woudl be gilmer.

bboy did you have to move your shackles back any for the 52'' up front. what size shackle did you use?

nvrenuf,
I have no regrets with the exo. The day may come that I hang up on it but with it so close to the body I don't think it will be often. It already saved my soft top from sure damage. on the lift, I'm not sure. Its 55" to the body line below the door handles.
muddyblzr,
Yes the ride was in Gilmer. At least one of those pics was from DeWoody. I would like some pics from Spring Creek, I'm very interested and I can pm someone email addresses if you have pics. Shackles are in stock location and 2" longer than factory.

The cage is 2" erw. .120 wall. Bent with a manual Pro Tools bender

I would do it again. The truck has gotten a few compiments. I think the fenders could be removed by removing the core support first.

I live in SW Louisiana. Not a hill around. I have to travel to wheel. I wish I could move but I must stay close to the Petrochemical Industries.

And last but not least Thanks for all of the compliments. bboy
