Wheeled the White Knight today!!

Replied to your PM Mudzer...With the IRC map there is an additional install step to follow compared to other maps. You install the .idf file from the ZIP file in the Insane maps folder, and the irc folder from the ZIP file in the Insane data folder. If you don't install the IRC folder, I think you just don't get the RTI ramps etc. The directions are in the README file that comes in the download. /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif
 
I noticed that you cannot access all the levels and cars that come with the game, how do you get access to them? Is it a demo or do you have to play for a while and get more cars and levels as you go? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Ok, I've gotten a couple PM's about this, so I figured I should reply here.

To get access to the secret cars/maps and the cars/maps that you download, you have to enter a cheat code. hehe, guess I shoulda mentioned this ealier. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif At the very first menu screen when the game loads, type ineedmorecars then hit enter. This will unlock all the secret and downloaded cars. To get the maps, hit esc to go back to the first menu screen and type ineedmoremaps. This will unlock the maps. Keep in mind that ya can't use the new cars in the compition mode. Just practice. I don't play the compition mode anyways. Free roam is alot more fun. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Which trail is it? SOme of them are marked with signs unless you tumble over the sign and knock it down. I went in and edited the gearing on the White Knight. I set the 1st gear to .009 or and the others are adjusted accordingly. I also set the suspension to medium, tires to soft. I usually run the extremely straight up trails in 2nd gear and really hammer the throttle. Its not much finesse, but its effective!

The one trail I am currently working on has a sign named "Mammoth Hill level 6". Ive gotten to the very tippy top but never made it over the crest with White Knight. Still trying though.

I must say, its a blast driving White Knight!

That Mammoth Mountain trail is the only one I haven't been able to finish. I'd get almost all the way to the top, then tumble back down to the bottom. /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif I tried for 3+ hours a couple nights ago. I made it to the top with the ATV, but thats pretty much like cheating so it didn't count. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif There's a trail called called "1sane Trek: Level Six:....that trail is a bitch too. Not as tough as the Mommoth Mountain one though. There's also one thats not labled on the same mountain as the Mommothone, just a bit to the right of the Mommothone. There all over the place really, Anywhere there's a mountain, there's usully some funky little goat trail to the top. /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

By the way, what did I do wrong to get labeled as a 'local' ? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Besides, though I had good intentions to get up and wheeling with the 'freaks when I was back home I never made it ... I'd probably end up jetting off to Alberta again that weekend /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif BUT Theresa is more than welcome to crash at my place, whether or not I can get my hunk of junk out of the garage.

That IRC level is awesome, thanks for making this post /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I just wish the White Knight truck didn't roll so damn easy. What truck are you using? I noticed some work better than others and the little one called the Samu seems to go up quite a bit of sh!t.
