Wheeled the White Knight today!!

Let's do it. Who up?

I'm Sitting here waiting /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

They are all over the place, just start driving around and looking for little white signs. The ones that I can think of off the top of my head:

Metal Masher
Lions Back
Insane Trek
Cliffhanger
Ball Buster (I think that's the name)
Mammoth Mountain

I'm sure there's more, not to mention all the little goat trails and stuff.

Find the Off Road brown sign and turn in there. Head all the way to the back and go up the wall, that will be Cliffhanger

Insane trek, if you turn and go past the little house thing and over the bridge, then turn back to the right it's on the left.

I'll see if I can think of directions to a few more /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

There's a gray line on the map too, you can follow that grey line all over the place, it's one giant trail.

The only problem with that is it doesn't lead to very many of the "marked" trails.

And it's brown /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Grey, brown, whatever... :P Another thing that I like to do is to change the map view so it's static, as in the map is always displayed whole, with North at the top. It makes it much easier to learn the map so you don't keep missing areas, which is easy to do on the Insane maps since they're pretty big and alot of the terrain looks the same in any given map.

Nailed that one. I guess I'm getting to geaky with the map, but it take me a minute or two just to spot stuff on there /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

I've just about done everything I can find on the IRC map, I need another one.

The Badlands map was pretty weak. The US offroad one's bored me. I found myself in Naples or something trying to run down the sheep herds casue I'm getting bored. Any more of this and I'm liable to be working /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Get the final version of the Moab map. I forget what they're calling it but it's pretty cool.

I'll get on it.

Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

If you want a map you can get lost in, get The Mountain. That thing is BIG! Pretty cool too. Not as much technical crawling like the IRC map, but got lot's of places to explore /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sounds like we need to get a game goin on. I can see 4 rigs trying to go up Mammoth Moutain or Insane Trek at once. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

How do I "unzip the cars i just downloaded to get them into play??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

unzip them into the cars folder in the game maps go in the maps folder /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

So now that everyonme has got it, lets get a hosted game going. I'm on Cox which blocks all incoming IPs, anyone free and clear (like DSL) willing to host a game? Lets set up a date and time... I'm liking the Blazer but haven't downloaded many maps yet!

and you "unzip"them by...... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I just select the file(white knight truck) click extract all then tell it to put it in the vehicles section and when i click next it saysinvalid compressed structure or sumthin like that WTF???

I can't figue out how to download it. I click on the link and it brings me to a directory with about nine things listed. I clicked on all of them and I don't get a game. Seven of them download, but give me nothing. And two just download videos of boat racing, pritty cool videos, but I want the game. WTF?

[/ QUOTE ] We were playing for almost 3 hours tonight, I just left the game. You need to check OT for the IP addys. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Also, download the IRC_1 map and the S-10 peanut and Blue Knight trucks, as those are very popular. In order to use a vehicle and map, everyone playing needs to have them.

Wow, I just downloaded that S10 Peanut truck...that thing is bad ass. Made it up every trail I couldn't do before, the first time in the Peanut. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Anyways, hows the multiplayer on dial up? Is it super laggy or playable? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

There was a guy playing tonight on dialup, seemed to work fine.

I finally found the entrance to the End Of Road trail in IRC....Actually took 8 or 9 tries in the Peanut. Pretty good trail. Well hidden. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
