Welp, did some wheelin out at Brushy Creek Motor Farm today. There were a lot of trucks out there Saturday, but I didn’t arrive until late Saturday night. Most of the trucks had left by then.

I’m in the white blazer, my step-dad Steven is in the blue exo’d blazer, my friend Thomas is in the blue first-gen blazer, my neighbor Kirven is in the black blazer, and my friend Chris is in the white Tacoma.

I didn’t really get any action shots as I was wheelin!(=poser shots lol)

Thomas and I didn’t show up until about 1:30 am this morning, so we waited till the morning to hit the trails.

Here’s Thomas making his way through a ravine. Fairly tight, he was having some steering issues. His pump was spewing fluid at one point haha. He also managed an electrical fire and partial destruction of his top. He got his wiring redone, scooped up the glass and we kept on wheelin.

It was a good day overall. I managed to go through another axle shaft lol. It was also my first time wheeling with a stick. While being quite a learning experience, I LOVED IT! The gearing and control took my enjoyment of wheeling to another level.

that blue 1 and white 1 and i think a toy rolled by my house lastnight.
nice rigs

that certainly sounds like us. you got a pm

So was this the first ride with manual tranny - Was it worth all the headache?

yup first time out with the stick and im NEVER looking back. between the gearing, control and compression braking, i dont regret going through one bit of hassle of the swap.

the only time i see the auto being an advantage is in the mud. especially if you arent in the gear you need befor you hit the hole. with that said, ill get better at driving and in the meantime, i have a winch lol.

Matt, you could have made it up that hill you just shouldn't be afraid of the gas. Back up to the tree... again... and then gun it from there. Thats how BigBlaze443 got stuck back in June.

i agree, but this trip claimed axle shaft #5 for the ol lockright in the front 10 bolt. i know from experience that it doesn't take much more throttle than that to pop these shafts. i REALLY hate taking the time to throw new shafts in.

ah well ive got a 60 now, just gotta detroit it and pick up some steering bidness before it gets installed. me = pumped. maybe i can stay away from the trails until then. lol

Was a really good time. After riding along im pumped to get my blaze runnin again.

We need to go back in about 2-3 weeks:D

Awwww The lil taco that could'nt make it through the mud pit. I know what your thinking but my top was off and I didnt want to get the new seats dirty!

How big of tires are you running?

That was a fun trip. Good food, great wheelin' and I got to stay in the trailer with the girls! Mmmmm, cozy.

It's always tough taking the fullsizes out there. Most of the trails are barely wide enough for a jeep.... body damage has happened every time i've been out there. Oh well, it's kinda like the dimples on a golf ball. The wrinkled body panels do wonders for my aerodynamic efficiency.
