First run with the 'borrowed' 38x12.5-16.5s. Also first run with the old 4:10s in it, but thats another post!
First the tire question:

With these tires I have on, what is the safest pressure to air down to? I know 16.5s dont have the bead that allow much of an air down, but I had them at 20psi today, and lots of tree crawling, and frozen rough ground and I didnt see hardly any sidewall flex on these tires. Id like them to wrap a little bit at least around obstacles. How low can I go??? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks
Mike

Wow, that low huh? Cool... just carry a can of ether I guess for 'bead reseating' Hehe /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks

hah, thats nothing. A buddy of mine has 16.5x12 weld outbacks on 33x15.50 TSL SX's and airs down to about 6 or 7psi. Spins donuts all day without a problem on the sand.
