Ok so I have came up on a good deal on a brand new set of 16x10 aluminum wheels for my 86 k20 suburban . The only reason I looked closely at them is I have a set of 315/70/16s on the truck now and still have the factory steel 6.5 inch wide wheels . I know it is not the best idea to run that fat of a tire on that narrow wheel but does it really make that much difference in wear and ride . I am also worried about the 16x10 sticking way out and looking bad . Thanks

as long as they have comparable backspacing i think youd be fine.. it is gonna stick out farther but IMHO it looks better that way than fat tires on skinny wheels:dunno:

check the sticky with all the lift/tires/etc setups to compare

my current setup uses 18x11
