what do you do about the torq rods that bolt to the block? do u have to run those in the s10? i would think so..or will they have room enough to just bolt to the tranny

2wd dont use them. also they may not clear the cross member.

so then there just not needed then either? i was taking them of the engine after i had it out of the blazer, and it just poped into my head how i would use them when i go to put it in the s10

yep there no needed, they were only used on 4x4 trannys.

if your talking about the rods that bolt to the side of the engine and run down to the tranny my 95 2wd has them but it's a 5 speed. maybe the auto's didn't have them.

i dont see the point of them and hoe they can help very much with anything especially with just one bolt at each end them them,
my brothers 92 2wd s-10 pickup has these and its got 4.3L and 700r4 with aluminum K case style inspection cover
if an engine and tranny flex apart form each otehr that much then something else is wrong that two little rods cant fix, IMHO
