Hmm, Not to be a smart ass or anything...But turn the bottle around and read the directions.... /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

What I usually do when I put in fuel system cleaners is dump them in on 3/8-1/2 tank of gas, drive around till I am somewhere around 1/8 of a tank and refill. I usually use Berryman's Fuel System cleaner. It seems to work rather well.

a full tank of gas for most people is 15-20 gallons. My K5 has a 31 gallon tank so that is why I put it in at or just below 1/2 tan.

when i buy fuel system cleaners, if it says treats 15-21 gallon, i buy 2 of them since my /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif has the 31 gallon tank. there are a few out there for SUV's and trucks with the bigger tanks that say they treat up to 30 gal. or so.

also some say this but some don't... put the stuff in first then go fill up, most of the cleaners and octane stuff just sits on top of the fuel.
