When do you decide to make parts yourself? I can buy greasable bolts for $81 a set with nuts and washers or I can make my own for $32 plus nuts and washers. Is it worth it to make them myself? I have nothing but time, so there is no labor costs.
Lord knows I need them, the poly bushings squeeking is driving me nuts.

or pull them out every 4 months and slather em up with grease.. FREE!!! ;)

I spend enough endless labor on fabbing stupid stuff, so i take ANY opportunity to buy something pre-done I can....

I have them everywhere. But i can never get a grease gun to work. I know its operator error, but i never seem to get the darn grease canister into the gun properly. Hate grease guns. I know, im a idiot:doah:

battery oporated grease gun hands down

self blead just hold trigger and also uses all the grease in the tube unlike most hand operated guns.

i have had a snap-on AKA linclion brand for years and love it to death. use to take me 30 min to do 60 fittings on a tow truck i use to drive per oil change. got that gun and had it done in under 15 min every time after. :D

Before I retired and used a grease gun regularly, that was one of the most frustrating tools I used. It always ran empty after I got up in the piping to grease valves, or well away from my truck. Then it was a challange to load a new tube in and get the air out. Best move I made was switching to Royal Purple tubes. They seemed to have a lot less air pockets in them.
