Where can I buy a new Qjet for my k5 with a 350? Do they still make them? If so, Is it possible to purchaseone without all of the emission garbage on it?

Take a look at Summit, you can't get new, but they have rebuilt Q-jets for around 350-400. I plan on picking one up when I get the new engine built.

as far as emissions junk, just don't run it. i plugged most of mine or ran them to other ports to sort of cancel each other out.

The later Q-jets have a bunch of different stuff (adjustable part throttle, etc) that were primarily for emissions that are undesirable.
70's Q-jets are the good ones.
I have a Jet Performance Stage 2 800cfm Q-jet. It would be too much for most 350ci engines. It is a new carb though. The performance is great I am very pleased w/ it. I bought it from Jegs. I would look at the Jet 750's they advertise for the 350's. I think you will like it.
