Where can I find a service manual to download for free? 81 Blazer

I would buy the service manual like Blazerfarm mentioned.

I use AUTOZONE (Click) at times for quick reference.

I regularly use my service manual, a Chilton's and my Haynes manuals as well.

Not at all. I've found the original shop manual online free, all 2000 or so pages. But 15$ isn't bad, thanks.

Hey, seriously, if you do find it online let us know. Who knows, someday I might have an '81. The Farm doesn't have a K5 from the '80s yet. :D

Hey I found you all three books (I have for my 1987) great buy on them too.

I have the parts catolog for my 1987 and it helps because it has part numbers and great detail pictures of the parts.

I posted the complete Army manual on 4x4mecca , its complete with every component teardown .

Its an Army book , but besides the special electrical equipment , the axles , motors , trannies and cases are the same .

And since the Army belongs to us , so does the book :)

I just bought a service manual for my '91 on Ebay.. $29 shipped. I figure it should cover a lot of my 89's stuff too.

You talkin' about the TM's for the CUCV's? Remember they're diesel-only, and yeah, the electricals are a nightmare.

Anyway, the CUCV manuals are also hosted on my Brochures site, http://brochures.slosh.com and click on CUCV in the upper left.

I think 4x4Mecca is run by somebody here, but in case it's not available or whatever ...
