i've seen the woodland camo patterns somewhere on here before. i didnt care much for the camo i had before and now my cucv is flat black. now i'm leaning toward desert camo pattern. i just saw a dodge truck with a desert camo theme in the latest issue of jp magazine (gimme a break, i used to have a jeep and i'm letting the subscription run out). anyone have any insight on where i should look?

as with any camo color scheme, there is no real 'pattern' for it, just select 3-4 colors and go at it. GL

might sound weird, but hit wal-marts toy section and look for military toys. thats what i did. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

The "real" CUCV patterns are the same for desert pr forest or whatever; there are two styles ("old" and "new" is all I know them as.)

Both are in my gallery here, for Blazers, pickups, and ambulances.

There should also be a coupla pix of my crewcab I did up in desert camo.

In the mid '70's when the Army went from OD paint to woodland camo we had a bassic patern to paint our trucks.

Here's a scan of the USMC pixel-pattern ("digital") desert camo.

The original scan is like 3200x2100, so if you want it REALLY BIG I can email it to you.
