Ok I picked up a set of 16.5 Helo aluminum wheels for a good price then I found a set of 35's to mount on them.

SURPRISE!
One of these 'like new' tires has a little gash in it. They say it can't be booted and they say I can't find a tube to put in it.

Then I find out the discontinued the 35x12.50x16.5 BFG M/T's

Anyone know where I could find one or two of them?

A tire shop wont tube it for liability reasons Im guessing, but if you bought a tube and did it yourself it will work. I have had plenty of friends who have done this.

depending on the state it might not be legal though, to run with tubes on the street.:dunno:

few simple steps.

buff / clean / glue / patch the hole area. let dry.

get a ( RADIAL TUBE ) as its a radial tire.

take it all and install it your self and blow up tube slow and steady as to let traped air blead out and not get traped.

then run it see how it fells. and keep it on the rear. i would rather have a blow out on the rear than the front.

If you don't mind driving a couple hours, I located one BFG mud Terrain in Seward Nebraska (just West of Lincoln on I80). Do you realize how easy it is to mount 16.5" tires yourself? I have those exact tires on my Burban. I also have 36x12.50x16.5's on my K30. I have never paid anyone to mount those tires for me.

Here are the 35x12.50x16.5" BFG's on my Suburban. I mounted them myself with three medium sized pry bars and some soapy water.

put some baby powder on the tube before installing it.......if you find a GOOD heavy truck tire shop they can fix it and vulcanize the spot and you will never know the difference......
