Where can I get a new hood release cable?

Mine is broke and brings the gay.

All the internet searches have come up dry, and all of the parts stores around here suck.

A friend told me to stay away from them for the hood cable. Said it was crap.

Was he wrong?

If GM still makes it, it's probably just a marked up GM piece. If GM has disco'd it, probably a piece of junk.

When I get a bit more time (later tonight?) I'll post up the GM part number.
