I'm gonna be swapping a front Dana 60 into my 1978 K20 in the very near future, and I was wondering if I would have to have custom brakelines made or if I could just use extended brakelines for either a 3/4 ton or 1 ton Chevy? Would 1/2 ton lines work or will the end fittings be different? Thanks, C. Mull

the 10 bolt and 60 take the same banjo bolts going into the calipers, dana 44 is different size than 60, so if you have a 10 bolt they will work /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

As long as your K20 doesn't have more then around 6" of lift you can replace you current lines (if the are for a D44) with the Napa #38872 lines. They are longer then stock, and are set up for the same banjo bolt as a D60 or 10 bolt. The lines only run about $15 each too, so they are cheap.

My rig does have the D44 but if I just got 1/2 ton lines from the 10-bolt era, would they fit the front where the lines go through the frame?
