I am thinking about putting carpet back in my blazer instead of doing the line-x and was wondering where you guys bought your carpet kits? LMC, Classic Industries, Stockinteriors.com? Thanks!

I bought mine from a-1 auto. The color was an exact match and the fit couldn't have been better. I bought extra jute padding from classic truck parts.
I got mine from http://www.accmats.com/ with the mass backing. Alot of the places you order from have carpet from them.

that mass back make a big diffrence in sound or do you think its better to add lots of deadning of your own?
I don't know yet haven't got it running. But it should help. Sure did seem to to make it alot nicer carpet then the factory carpet I took out. Its like having dynmat sprayed on the back of it. You can see some pic of it installed in my build thread.
It also had some padding on the front half. I did put done a layer of sound and heat padding first. Then put 2 layer in the back so it would be softer.

Haha, yeah, originally I was just going to leave it lined. But seeing as its my only daily driver, I want it to be a bit more comfy.

whats wrong with LMC carpets? I was thinking of ordering a black carpet kit from them..
I would ask what brand it is. Most places sell carpet from ACC.

I got mine from autoanything.com because I had a 10% discount code and free shipping to beat everyone else's shipping. It is ACC carpet, so it's still good quality stuff.

I had great luck with LMC. I was worried about the factory carpet by the rear speakers matching and it does perfectly. Its good quality carpet and it was molded nicely too. All I did was take the old carpet and cut out the holes for the transfer case shifter, center console, and the rear seat latches.
Like said before I am sure a lot of these places get their carpet from the same place.
