Where do I get One of these ??

The brake backing plate on my 84 K5 Blazer was bent by the previous owner. It looks like he was trying to pry off the drum. GM no longer stocks this part and neither does LMC. Are any new ones available anywhere ? Please advise ? Corporate 373 rear geared rear axle. Ken

I would try to classified ads here on CK5 , many of us have these lying around for either cheap or free with shipping .

Unless you absolutely have to have a new one . Try LMC if thats the case , and be prepared to pay more than its worth to the wheeling crowd

I'm assuming it's a right hand side, since the left is still available from G.M. There are eight showing at dealerships on the national locator. Have your dealer run the part number on O.E. Connection. The part # is 14055280 for right hand, and 14055279 for left. If the're not willing to do it, or don't have access to O.E., post up again and I'll give you some phone numbers.
