Well, after ruining 1 steering box :dunno: I finally have a complete tapped steering box w/ a 2wd sector shaft... I hooked up all the hydro lines, etc... but I don't know if I have them in the right place. Of the 2 ports on the box... a high and a low... which one goes to which end of the ram? The ram is mounted w/ the solid end on the drivers side so the ram pushes towards the pass side. I would have just tested it, but I couldn't start the truck due to no battery...

best way to do it is to hook up the lines to the cylinders and not attach the cylinder to the axle at all. Start it up and turn the steering wheel and watch which way the cylinder moves. That should show you all you need to know.

Yeah, but thats alot of work when there is beer to be drank, there is no battery, there is beer to be drank, it hasn't been started in about 6 months, and there is beer to drink...  I just figure that someone here has a Rocklogic kit and can give me the quick answer!!!

Rocklogic ram

The rocklogic instructions say steering box fiitting nearest the top of the box is pressure and should be connected to the port on the ram nearest the differential. The fixed end of the ram , not the end that travels in and out.

shouldent you be able to just turn the wheel with it off and see what end the fluid comes out of?

just stick it on stands

Well, I picked one, and it was the wrong one... fixed it, only to not be able to use the truck anyways.
