I have one to go to the rear brake line so I can adjust the pressure as needed, but need to put it in an accessible spot in line.
Where have you mounted yours?

On my 1990 K5 I just bought, it's mounted under the master cylinder using the studs for the master cylinder. I'll look for a picture.

That sounds like a good idea, for some reason, I was thinking it should be mounted on the frame in line.
Mounting it up high will allow for easy access, and I can continue running my lines.
A pic would be nice if you got one.

Haha, yeah my internet connection is slow as can be tonight for some reason. How does the edit work out for you?

Pic looks much better now, but thats the fixed calibrated type Martin, I was looking for this type:

But I can just as well make a mounting bracket for it right off the hydroboost....thanks for the idea.

he posted a catalog pic of your adjustable valve, I don't think he saw it in the pic, it's kind of hiding behind the bracket

I can see the picture now. Yeah, there is an adjustable proportioning valve there. It is on the backside of the bracket, behind the factory one.

I ended up mounting mine under the truck, above the bracket where the flex line drops to the rear axle. My first plan was to put it under hood, but the fittings matched those in the back and not the MC fittings. In fact, when I was doing it, I couldn't even find the right fittings for the MC rear circuit.

Inline tube has em Luke, I got my stuff from them for the lines and fittings!

I mounted mine in the rear of the frame right where the 1/4" brake line necks down to 3/16". Near the rear pass. tire, right where the hard line meets the flexline for the rear axle. I have mine only like a turn or 2 out from almost closed...Ive replaced it once because when I installed it originally, I set it once and never touched it for 6 years, I went to make an adjustment, and the knob wouldn't move, its rusted in the position its in, so I bought another one and I adjust it everytime I go wheeling.

Yep, thats what I'm going to do also, should help keep it easily usable, and out of harms way.
