Where is the best place to find info about wiring

1986 1 ton engine wiring, all hacked up, and want to trace all these cut off wires. Trying to put it back to original. Unless someone has a perfect one for sale. The necessary wiring is ok, starter, alt, distributor, etc. but there is a mess of stuff cut up.

Most of the good repair manuals have wiring schematics in the back, complete with color coding. Once you get the colors figured out, its pretty easy.
