Hankook tires are made in Korea. Maxxis tires are made in Taiwan. They started selling the whole line of Maxxis tires here in Sweden a couple of years ago and they've become very popular. Especially their bias-ply offroadtires are really good tires for their price.

Maybe some are, but the Hankook tires on my company's truck clearly say "Made In China" :(

If you don't mind ordering em in, Desert Rat here in Phx has em for around $128 a piece. Thats where I scored mine :D

nothing showed up in that link.

Worked for me earlier but not now, guess it was in my cache. Look up a 35x12.50x15 on their site and it's one of three tires that comes up. Like I said, not sure if they come in a 16".

If you want a set of cheap MTs just go to Wally World and order a set of Super Sports Mts they come in sizes up to 37". They are a good tough tire. Made by Goodyear. Wear fairly well and hook up good off road. They have a good warrentee and free flat repair, balance ect. Aint no better deal out there.
I have a set of 12.50x33s and use them hard. I am very satisfied with them. I will buy another set this spring when they wear out .They have over 30K on them now.

If urr set on Mud Kings,Buckshot, ECT you can usually get them on Ebay cheap.

well im not really set on any. ive seen my mud kings perform and im impressed only draw back is there hard which for rocks sucks but for street and anything else is good.
right now its a toss up. my bfg's are still doing alright but im gonna need a new set in the near future.
so far unless i for some reason everything im selling sells instantly i gotta go cheap so i can build my rock buggy

I just realized you need 16's, so forget the price I quoted - 16's come in at about $20 more a pair. Then there is shipping, which really jacks up the price :doah:

Hit the off-road shops in your town that carry tires. Some of them may carry one or more of the brands you are looking for. Also, some others may surprise you. For instance, Desert Rat here in Phx has Interco TRXUS M/T's for not much more than Mud Kings. The reason I ended up with the Mud Kings is because a friend gave me a pair of hardly used General Grabber M/T's that were on the Heep he bought. The Mud Kings had a sorta similar tread, and the price was right - I was planning on replacing 'em in a year or so anyway. Well, the Generals literally fell apart, shedding massive chunks of tread after only 50 miles :doah:. So, I bought another pair of Mud Kings to match the first pair, and the rest is history. If I had known the Generals were junk, I would have just got 4 TRXUS MT's instead. Still, I can't complain about the Mud Kings - they are wearing well on the street (my Blazer is my DD) and work well on the moderate rocky trails I have been on so far. Hopefully with the weather in northern Az I may get a chance soon to see how they handle snow :D
