So I need to change out my PS pump on my 1983 K5 6.2l diesel with AC.

Called the dealer, no go, discontinued. Everyone says stay away from autozone, schucks, etc...

What's a feller to do?

i get a discount at Advance because my brother works there, and my shop deals with them... plus, yeah, lifetime warranty helps... just save the receipt, you've got nothing to worry about...

i got a n.o.s. pump off e-bay for $100. item number 320349759259, you can contact the seller and see if they have any more.

Hmmm see that's the issue. I have seen a few pumps with the built in reservoir. Mine has the "round" pump with the external reservoir.

Does it make a difference? I assumed it did.

My uncle hasn't had any problems with the autozone pump he installed 2 years ago. Just FYI

Good deal. I ended up getting one from NAPA. Seems to work fine. If it craps out on me I will just get a replacement.
