where to buy u bolts

any online sources for u bolts for a D70 HD. the local guy says he needs a old u bolt to go off, which i don't have, and at $40 for the pair, i don't want to risk getting the wrong ones built. any help would be appreciated. i'm planning on swapping in the 70 this coming weekend, so i have this week to find some.

do you have the u bolt plate??? you can use that for an accurate measurement, just bring it with ya

top plate = tube dia for round bend size. then bottom of tube to top of spring pack with all added up. tube dia+spring pack thickness+and perch hight+top plate and allow for washers and nuts thickness.

bottom plate = spring width for square bend+thickness of spring pack+tube tia+ hight of perch +and bottom plate with room for nuts and washers.

so if you have a 3.35" tube its a 3.35 round bend for top plate style.
and if 2.5 wide spring its a 2.5 square bend . then if you have the axle all together and ready for ubolts and you have 11" of rod length needed it will be 11"legs. just a basic idea to measure them.

just remember that u bolt are mesure from the inside for whit and the inside of the arc for lenght

dont forget to add extra lenght for the deepnut and extra thick washer that u should use

i work in a spring shop so i play whit u bolt aaalll day long
