where to find piece inside horn button?

ive got a the newer smaller '91 chevy steering wheel in my '88 k5, and ive got the center horn button, but i dont have the piece that goes between the wire and the thing thats in the base of the steeering wheel (i know, not sure what its called). besides a junk yard, and probably a dealership, where can i find this piece? what material is it? seems like i could just make one, anybody need the length? its time to get the truck inspected, so time for the horn to finally be functional. thanks

you talking about the plastic piece that the wire snaps into?

possibly? i have the horn button piece that snaps into the steering wheel and its got a wire snap on it, but theres another piece that goes in there too, to engage the horn, like some kind of spacer thing

91 chevy suburban 5.7L electrical then horn actuator pad. That should get you what you're looking for. I just ordered the very same thing. From plastic clip to end of wire.

the piece i was referring to is the turn signal cancelor thingy, the wire clips on the back of the horn button, then goes to this plastic tube looking thing that sits around the steering wheel shaft, the wire twist locks or barely sits in this thing, and breaks real easy,, but anyways, local parts store usually carry what i am describing, bought many of them
